New RAH delayed again: Snelling

The South Australian government says the new Royal Adelaide Hospital is now unlikely to take patients before next year.

The new Royal Adelaide Hospital won't be handed over to the state government until at least September and is unlikely to take patients before next year.

Technical completion of the $2 billion project has already been pushed back three times this year, Health Minister Jack Snelling says.

"(September) is the builder's date. They have not had a great track record of providing accurate dates in the past so we are independently assessing whether it is realistic or not," he said on Wednesday.
