A new test has been made available in the UK that could save up to three thousand lives per year from bowel cancer.

The test involves a new style of camera that is inserted in the bowel to show up any pre-cancerous growths that can be removed by surgeons.

Over 600,000 people die every year around the world from colorectal or 'large bowel cancer'.
