The Melbourne Renegades have bounced back in style from the demoralising loss of BBL superstar Dwayne Bravo.
But veteran spinner Brad Hogg says the search for a replacement allrounder remains a top priority as the Renegades look to consolidate their solid start to the season.
Hogg's three wickets proved pivotal for the Renegades in their seven-run win over the Melbourne Stars in front of a bumper 71,162 crowd at the MCG on Sunday.
The 45-year-old said it was a big achievement to secure the victory without Bravo, who suffered a season-ending hamstring injury during Thursday's loss to the Perth Scorchers.
"When you've got an all-round player who fields, bats and bowls like he does, he's a huge loss," Hogg said.

"That's the hole that we've got to fill. It doesn't need to be advertised because every other team can see it.
"I've been privy to a couple of players who have been mentioned (as a replacement). I'd say that we'd be hoping to get an allrounder. You want to fill what you've already got."
What's less certain is a return date for fragile Renegades quick James Pattinson.
The 26-year-old had hoped to use the BBL campaign as a stepping stone in his return to national duties but suffered a mild hamstring strain which has kept him out of the Renegades' first three games.
"It's really disappointing to see a fast bowler with that quality and that talent not playing in the competition," Hogg said.
"At the end of the day, we want to make sure he's alright and that he comes back and doesn't get injured again.
"It's not only for the Renegades and not only for Victorian cricket but it's also for our pace stocks for Australia.
"He's probably one of the best paceman going around at the moment that's not playing."
