French "spiderman" Alain Robert has angrily denied suggestions that he is disrespectful of Australian law, and has told a court his latest climb of a Sydney building didn't put lives at risk.
The 47 year-old has pleaded not guilty to charges of risking the safety of another by climbing a building or structure and unlawful entry of inclosed lands, in the Downing Centre local court today.
The charges relate to a stunt on August 30 when Robert was arrested after climbing the 56-storey Lumiere Building on Bathurst St in central Sydney.

The matter has been adjourned until October 15.
