No extra security measures will be put in place for the Socceroos match against Tajikistan at Adelaide Oval on Thursday night in the wake of the Brussels terror attack.

Stadium boss Andrew Daniels says management takes advice from police on such matters and that advice has been that the current arrangements remain appropriate.

"We upgraded our security some time ago and currently the advice of the police is that is an appropriate response for tonight," Mr Daniels said.

About 35,000 fans are expected to watch the World Cup qualifier as the oval marks two years since the completion of its $535 million upgrade.

South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill said the state government has been briefed by police following the bombings in Brussels and a review of existing security arrangements had been conducted.

"We'll make sure that all of the appropriate steps are in place to make sure people are safe at this event," Mr Weatherill said.
