Injury-prone Thanasi Kokkinakis will fill the shoes left by Nick Kyrgios at this summer's Hopman Cup tennis tournament in Perth.
Kokkinakis will team with world No.22 Daria Gavrilova at the mixed-teams event, which starts on December 30.
Switzerland's 19-time grand slam winner Roger Federer and Belinda Bencic confirmed in June that they would return to the mixed-teams tournament this summer.
And the rest of the field was unveiled on Wednesday, with Germany's team of world No.4 Alexander Zverev and former world No.1 Angelique Kerber set to be among the favourites.
America's outfit of world No.21 Jack Sock and world No.16 Coco Vandeweghe are also expected to fare well, while Russia features Svetlana Kuznetsova.

Gavrilova teamed with Kyrgios for the past two years.
The pair won the title in 2016, but bombed out last summer as Kyrgios battled a knee injury.
Kyrgios has played through a hip injury for most of this year. But the selection of Kokkinakis also comes with risks.
The rising star has had limited time on court over the past two years because of injuries to his shoulder, pectoral, elbow, and groin.
Kokkinakis, who was a reserve player at the Hopman Cup in 2012, will be aiming to use the tournament as a launching pad for 2018.
"I can't wait. Hopman Cup is an opportunity and I've been wanting to play for a few years now," Kokkinakis said.
"Obviously health hasn't let me, but I had an unbelievable experience when I was sixteen years old.
"It's going to be unreal. To have three to four quality matches in the heat - maybe it's hotter than it is in Melbourne and getting ready for the Aussie Open, is going to be perfect."
Japan, who will be represented by Yuichi Sugita and Naomi Osaka, will be playing at the tournament for the first time in 16 years.
