But NRL teammate Josh McGuire says there is no pressure on the fledgling No.7 to bring the razzle dazzle to Suncorp Stadium every weekend.
Former Brisbane prodigy Corey Norman will pull the strings for Parramatta in a halves duel as the Eels hunt a top-four spot.
The Eels will move to fourth if they win and the Sydney Roosters take care of Cronulla on Saturday.
The Broncos have won all 10 games with Nikorima starting at halfback this season, but the jury remains out after coach Wayne Bennett admitted the New Zealand representative was "off the pace" in last Friday's win against St George.

Halves partner Anthony Milford could do no wrong in the win, finishing with a try, two try assists, two line breaks and seven tackle-busts.
Nikorima failed to break the line and ran the ball just three times.
But a holistic McGuire said his quiet night should not be viewed so critically.
"I don't think he was off the boil, I just think that Milly (Anthony Milford) was on fire and you can't have everyone firing at once I guess," McGuire said.
"I thought the week before Kodi was really good ... there's always one conductor and last week it was Milly."
