Australia's Attorney General has announced that the prosecution of the Sri Lankan president will not go ahead, after a Sri Lankan-born Australian filed war crimes charges against him.
Jegan Waran submitted the charges as President Mahinda Rajapakse was due to land in Australia for the Commonwealth summit in Perth.
President Rajapakse immediately denied the accusations.
