Jarryd Hayne and his San Francisco 49ers are battered and bruised after three straight NFL losses and they probably won't get respite next weekend.
The 49ers fly across the country to face the New York Giants.
Hayne faces a monumental challenge going head-to-head with fellow Australian and in-form Giants punter, Brad Wing.
"Our punter did an outstanding job," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said after Wing was a weapon for New York in Sunday's upset win over the Buffalo Bills.
Wing's accurate boot dropped four of his eight punts inside the Bills' 20-yard line, giving the Giants exceptional field position that led to a 24-10 victory in Buffalo.

Wing easily leads the NFL in most punts inside the 20-yard line.
Hayne has also made a name for himself as a dangerous punt returner, with the Green Bay Packers deliberately punting away from the Australian in their 17-3 victory over the 49ers on Sunday.
Hayne, who wore an NFL microphone during the game, was frustrated by Packers' punter Tim Masthay's tactics.
"It's only my fourth game," Hayne could be heard complaining.
"Why don't you kick it to me?"
49ers tight end Vernon Davis could be heard telling Hayne: "That means you're dangerous, bro".
One Packers' punt that was in reach ended up making Hayne and the 49ers' special teams unit resemble a Keystone Cops skit.
Hayne initially decided to let the ball bounce and likely go over the sideline, but when his teammates came close to the ball he singled a fair catch and then went for the ball.
"Obviously it was a late read," said Hayne, describing the fumble.
"I was going to poison it and let it go, but then I thought one of our guys, it might hit him.
"So I went for it, just kind of threw my body in there and was hoping to catch it.
"I think one of their gunners made a good play and nudged one of our boys into me and obviously knocked me off balance."
Melbourne-born Wing is thriving in New York after flashes of brilliance and poor play with the Pittsburgh Steelers and at Louisiana State University.
He lost the Steelers' punting job to another Victorian, Jordan Berry, and was traded to New York.
49ers' special teams co-ordinator Thomas McGaughey was Wing's coach at LSU, so will have plenty of insight for Hayne.
The 49ers were in damage control on Monday after the team appeared to be fractured and rebelling against each other during the Packers' loss.
49ers coach Jim Tomsula continued to back quarterback Colin Kaepernick, despite his team ranking last in passing yards.
Kaepernick, sacked six times and regularly off-target with his passes against Green Bay, seemed to blame the 49ers' play callers, telling reporters after the Packers' loss: "We're trying to make plays with what's called".
