No sign of man swept away in Qld floods

Police have resumed their search for a man missing in floodwaters at Mount Isa in Queensland's northwest.

A man swept away by floodwaters in Queensland's northwest is still missing.

Around 10pm on Friday, a member of the public saw the man being swept away by the flooded Leichhardt River at Happy Valley in Mount Isa, police say.

Police and swift water rescue teams resumed searching for the man at first light on Saturday.
