Kevin Rudd's Labor colleagues are apparently steering clear of his bedside at a Brisbane hospital.
Mr Rudd is recovering from keyhole surgery to remove his gall bladder at the Mater Private Hospital.
He was admitted three days ago it's still not known when he'll be allowed home.

Federal Minister for Transport Anthony Albanese was campaigning in northern Brisbane yesterday and said he didn't have time to visit but had sent Mr RUDD a message of good will.
Mr Rudd's spokesman wouldn't comment on whether any Labor colleagues had called in but says the former PM's recovery is going well.
