North Melbourne veteran Jarrad Waite will miss the Kangaroos' AFL clash with Sydney after accepting a one-match ban for a driving tackle on Adelaide's Tom Lynch.

Waite was charged by the Match Review Panel with careless conduct with medium impact to the head after the tackle left the Crows forward with concussion during their Blundstone Arena match.

St Kilda's Koby Stevens has also taken a one-match suspension for a similar tackle on Greater Western Sydney's Nathan Wilson during the Saints' upset win and will miss their round-eight meeting with Carlton.

Fellow Saint Jack Steven has accepted a $1000 fine for misconduct against the Giants' Stephen Coniglio while Adelaide's Charlie Cameron will pay a $1500 fine for striking North's Kayne Turner.

Fremantle's Matt Taberner has accepted a $1000 fine for striking Essendon's Michael Hurley during the first quarter of their clash.
