Gold miner Northern Star Resources has posted a lower-than-expected growth in quarterly volumes, selling 134,100 ounces for the three months ending June 30.
Full-year sales volume totalled 561,153 ounces, still within the guidance range of 535,000 to 570,000 ounces.
The company said it lifted free cash flow for the full year to a record $224.2 million, despite revenue rising just five per cent to $885.5 million tonnes, on the back of significant productivity gains and cost savings.
At 1100 AEST, shares in the company, which owns five gold mines in Western Australia, were up 0.8 per cent at $5.35 each.
