North's Jacobs in AFL concussion struggle

North Melbourne coach Brad Scott says midfielder Ben Jacobs is no certainty to overcome delayed concussion symptoms in time to face Collingwood in the AFL.

North Melbourne tagger Ben Jacobs is continuing to struggle with delayed concussion symptoms which could force him to miss his fourth AFL game in five weeks.

The 26-year-old is no certainty to return for Saturday's clash with Collingwood as he grapples with the effects of a head knock suffered in round 11.

"I can report that he's feeling good today and he'll do some work out on the track today ... it's just so difficult to ascertain an exact diagnosis because we've got to treat him symptomatically and that changes sometimes day to day," coach Brad Scott said on Wednesday.
