Not the time for cuts, says Malinauskas

South Australian Opposition Leader Peter Malinauskas has delivered his budget reply speech in state parliament.

The South Australian Liberal government's first budget lacks ambition in a time of economic growth, Opposition Leader Peter Malinauskas says.

Mr Malinauskas delivered his budget reply speech in state parliament on Thursday, taking aim at the financial blueprint handed down by Treasurer Rob Lucas which features cuts to public services and education.

"The treasurer may have ice in his veins, but this budget proves the premier to be cold-blooded," Mr Malinausaks said in parliament on Thursday.
