NSW has maintained the lowest unemployment rate of all states for a sixth straight month, dropping to 5.2 per cent in November.

NSW also added more than 50,000 jobs, making up 70 per cent of the 71,400 jobs added nationally in the latest monthly figures.

The growth pushed the number of jobs created in NSW this year to 181,000.

"This is further proof that NSW has emerged as the nation's jobs creation capital, thanks to our strong and diverse economy," NSW Treasurer Gladys Berejiklian said.
