Alyssa Healy and young quick Lauren Cheatle have powered NSW into a 23rd straight Women's National Cricket League grand final and kept Australian sport's greatest domestic streak alive.
Needing to beat both South Australia and ACT in the final rounds of the 50-over competition this weekend, Cheatle took six wickets and Healy plundered 94 from 71 balls across the two games to ensure the big victories.
The wins leave NSW on top of the WNCL ladder with all six of their games played, four points clear of second-placed Tasmania and nine ahead of third-placed Queensland who each have a game in hand.
Tasmania remain in the box seat to meet the Breakers in next weekend's grand final, unless they lose to Victoria on Sunday and Queensland beat Western Australia with a bonus point.
The Tasmanians have never made a grand final, but in comparison NSW are yet to miss one since the competition was formed in 1996-97.

With the longest grand final streak in any top-tier semi-professional or professional Australian league in danger after two losses earlier in the season, the Breakers were at their dominant best in their two games in Adelaide.
They easily accounted for South Australia on Friday, with Cheatle taking 2-24 as they rolled through the hosts for 106 before a 25-ball 34 from Healy helped NSW chase down the target inside 19 overs.
Cheatle - an Australian representative at age 16 before injuries struck her down - then took 4-42 to have the ACT all out for 195 in their crucial showdown on Saturday.
With the winner of the match then set to qualify for the decider, the Breakers reached the total with just under 20 overs to spare as Healy top scored 60 from 46 balls.
It gives NSW the chance to defend the title they have won in 19 times over the competition's 22 seasons.
