A 60-year-old foster carer accused of raping and supplying cannabis to a teenage girl in his charge is set to face court on the NSW mid-north coast.
The man has been behind bars since Friday after being charged with sexually and indecently assaulting the 14-year-old girl and supplying her with a prohibited drug.
The man, who is no longer a carer, was refused bail at Taree Local Court on Saturday to front court again on Tuesday.
Alternative care arrangements were made for the girl last month.
