A NSW driver has been charged after she allegedly hit a parked car while more than five times the legal blood-alcohol limit in Sydney's inner west.

The 40-year-old was driving in Annandale about 5pm on Friday when she allegedly hit the car, which then went on to strike another two vehicles.

NSW Police say a subsequent breath test at Newtown Police Station revealed a blood-alcohol reading of 0.279, about five-and-a-half times the legal limit.

The woman has been charged with high range drink driving and granted conditional bail ahead of an appearance at Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court on May 25.
