The hunt continues for a suspected gunman following the fatal crossfire shooting of a man during a domestic argument that spilled onto the street in Sydney's southwest.
Two people have been charged but police continue their hunt for Heckenberg shooting suspect Matthew Russell, whose car was found without number plates in the garage of a Green Valley home on Saturday night.
The 28-year-old is wanted over Friday night's shooting of a 46-year-old man, who was struck while talking on his mobile phone in a parked car on Matthew Street about 6.30pm.
The victim, named by media as Qusay Al Mhanawi, was an innocent bystander caught up in a dispute between Russell and two brothers over one of the brothers' girlfriends, police allege.
Police charged a 30-year-old man and 20-year-old woman with concealing a serious indictable offence.
The victim's grieving father Jabbar Al Mhanawi told News Corp he heard the gunshots from his porch and found his dying son Qusay in the car with bullet holes in his head and chest.
"I was holding my son with both hands and the blood was coming out of his head like tap water," Mr Mhanawi said.
"The lady from next door got some towels to put on his head.
"I checked his pulse soon after but he was dead."
Russell is known to police and investigators have urged anyone who sees him to contact them immediately.
However, the public have been encouraged not to directly approach Russell, who is described as having a solid build, short brown hair and a "Ned Kelly-styled beard".
The man who was arrested was refused bail and is due to appear in Liverpool Local Court on Monday.
The woman is expected to appear in the same court on Thursday after she was granted conditional bail.
