Another voter poll has confirmed NSW Labor is headed for a record election defeat .. with the government clinging to just 22 per cent of the primary vote.

A Herald/Nielsen Poll published in Fairfax newspapers today shows state Labor may be reduced to just 13 MPs following the result of the March 26 election.

The coalition's primary vote rests on a solid 53 per cent with the Greens at 13 per cent.

On a two-party preferred basis .. Labor holds just 34 per cent while the coalition is resting on 66 per cent.

On who voters prefer as premier Premier Kristina Keneally is on 38 per cent with opposition leader Barry O'Farrell at 52 per cent.
