A man has been charged after he was caught with drugs, an SKS semi-automatic rifle, a loaded homemade shotgun, a 12-gauge shotgun and two .22 calibre rifles at a Central Coast breath test.
The 31-year-old was pulled over for a random breath test at Heatherbrae on Saturday night and his Holden Commodore was searched by police, who found the weapons stashed in the back, police said.
Amphetamines, pills and a vial of what's believed to be steroids were also discovered.
Police don't believe the man has links to any gangs or bikie outfits.
The Canton Beach resident, who didn't have a firearms licence, was charged with numerous offices including five counts of possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm and supplying a prohibited drug.

Bail was refused and he's due before Maitland Local Court on Sunday.
