NSW man charged for sex abuse of girl, 3

A 50-year-old man has been arrested for indecently assaulting a toddler at a guest house in the NSW Snowy Mountains.

A man has been charged after sexually abusing a three-year-old girl in the NSW Snowy Mountains.

Police allege the man assaulted the toddler at a guest house in Wheatley Road, Perisher Valley, on July 15. The man was a stranger to the child and her family, police say.

The 50-year-old faced Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday after being arrested at a home in Roseville in Sydney's upper north shore.

He was charged with having sexual intercourse with a child under 10 and indecent assault of a person under 16 years of age.

He did not apply for bail and it was officially refused, with the matter being adjourned to August 17 at Central Local Court.
