NSW man faces historic child abuse charges

A 67-year-old NSW man will face court on a number of child sex assault charges dating as far back as 1992.

A NSW man has been charged with child sexual assaults dating back to the early 1990s.

The 67-year-old Snowy Mountains man was arrested on Friday following reports of a number of alleged sexual and indecent assaults that occurred in Cooma between 1992 and 1996.

He has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault and ten counts of aggravated indecent assault against a young boy.

He was refused bail and is due to appear before Queanbeyan Local Court on Monday.
