NSW man suffers multiple stabs wounds

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds in Sydney's west.

Emergency services were called to a home in Normanby Street, Fairfield, about 8.20pm on Monday.

Police found a 20-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

He was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A man, arrested at the home, was taken to Fairfield Police Station for questioning.
