Two NSW men will be extradited to Queensland to face murder charges in relation to the fatal stabbing of a man in his home west of Bundaberg.

It's alleged the 43-year-old was found with stab wounds at a home in Mundubberah last Tuesday and died in hospital later that day.

Queensland police say a 35-year-old man from Orange appeared in court in NSW on Friday and would be extradited to appear in the Queensland Magistrates court on Monday.

A 70-year-old Dubbo man was arrested overnight and will appear in Dubbo Magistrates court on Monday where his extradition to Queensland will be sought.
