Police from New South Wales and West Australia along with Federal Police, Customs Officers and Asian Crime Squad officers have been investigating the alleged large commercial supply and interstate trafficking of drugs, including heroin and ice.

Asian Crime Squad detectives arrested a 38-year-old man and 49-year-old woman en route to Sydney Airport yesterday morning, and the man is believed to be the syndicate ringleader.

Police say cash and one kilogram of ice was found in the vehicle they were travelling in.

Both people are due to face Parramatta Local Court today on drug and proceeds of crime charges.
