The missing person reward for a NSW man who disappeared over 20 years ago has doubled to $100,000 as police hope for new tip-offs to help crack the cold case.

Twenty-five year old William "Bill" Roach disappeared from Grafton Road, Armidale on New Year's Eve in 1993, and while police executed a crime scene warrant at a property on the outskirts of Armidale in February, they're hoping for more assistance from the public.

"I'd urge anyone with information, regardless of how insignificant you think it may be, to come forward," Acting Inspector Stuart Gray said on Thursday.
