NSW police recruiting ethnic cops

The New South Wales police force has launched a drive for more members from different ethnic backgrounds, for their specialised skillls.

The New South Wales police force has launched a drive for more members from different ethnic backgrounds.

It says that applicants from diverse cultures bring specialised skills to the job.

"What we're targetting in this recruitment campaign amongst other things are members of the asian communities, the Indian community and the middle eastern community", a police spokesman said.
