NSW policeman charged with assault

A NSW senior constable has been charged with assault and intimidation following a road-related incident on NSW's Central Coast.

A NSW policeman has been charged with common assault and intimidation following an alleged road-related argument with another man on the Central Coast.

The senior constable, who is attached to a specialist command, allegedly assaulted a male driver at Woy Woy on February 2.

Following investigations the officer, whose duty status is under review, was charged this week and ordered to face Woy Woy Local Court on October 25.
