NSW senators confirmed

The Australian Electoral Commission has confirmed NSW's six senators, which feature newcomer David Leyonhejlm for the Liberal Democrats.

Liberal Democrat David Leyonhjelm, who harvested the votes of both donkey and confused Liberal voters, has been confirmed as one of NSW's six senators.

Mr Leyonhjelm joins Liberals Marise Payne and former Howard government chief of staff Arthur Sinodinos, former Labor minister Bob Carr and parliamentary secretary Doug Cameron and National Party's John Williams, the Australian Electoral Commission announced on Wedneday.
