The NSWRL will wait until the end of the NRL season before deciding whether to sever ties with long-time State of Origin selection adviser Bob Fulton.
Despite reports the rugby league Immortal would inform Blues coach Laurie Daley that he intends to stand down from his role on Sunday, the NSWRL said there had yet to be any formal discussions on the matter.
"We are aware of the report but he's definitely not had any official communication with us about it," a NSWRL spokesperson told AAP on Sunday.
News Corp reported that Fulton, who has assisted the past three coaches in Daley, Ricky Stuart and Craig Bellamy, has opted to focus on his promotion from part-time consultant to head of football at Manly.
The NSWRL said Fulton's role would be reviewed just like every other duty surrounding the NSW team at the conclusion of the NRL season in October.

"He's made an enormous contribution to our sport and our organisation over a long period of time and that role would be subject to a discussion by the board at the end of the season," the spokesperson said.
"All these types of things are reviewed at the end of the season."
Daley names his team for the third and final game of the series on Monday and will head into camp in Coffs Harbour on Tuesday.
