NSW women allegedly cut husband's throat

A NSW woman has been charged with attempted murder after her husband's throat was cut in the small Riverina town of Coolamon.

A Riverina woman who allegedly cut her husband's throat has been charged with attempted murder.

The 35-year-old was stopped by police on a Coolamon street on Monday night and told officers she had tried to harm her husband.

Emergency services went to a nearby home in the small NSW town near Wagga Wagga and treated a 44-year-old man for cuts to his neck.

The woman is due to appear in Wagga Wagga Local Court on Tuesday.
