NT signs up to hospital funding deal

The Northern Territory has joined the ACT, NSW, Western Australia and South Australia in signing up to the Turnbull government's hospital funding package.

The Northern Territory has signed up to the Turnbull government's hospital funding package.

The territory's decision follows the lead of NSW, Western Australia, South Australia and the ACT.

The agreement increases funding to the NT to $1.96 billion over the period 2020-25, Treasurer Scott Morrison said in a statement with his territory counterpart on Monday.
