The number of people missing in the Queensland flood disaster has been scaled down from 90 to 67, state Emergency Services Minister Neil Roberts says.

But the number confirmed dead remains at 10.

Military, police and emergency services personnel are currently using helicopters and vehicles to search for missing people in the Lockyer Valley west of Brisbane.
