NZ beat Australia at junior world champs

New Zealand secure fifth place at the junior rugby world championships courtesy of a 55-24 defeat of Australia.

A fast-finishing New Zealand have beaten Australia 55-24 to snare fifth place at the junior rugby world championship in Manchester.

The New Zealand under-20 side scored four of their eight tries in the last 22 minutes to pull clear after having gone into halftime with the scores locked 21-21.

England dominated the final on Saturday, beating Ireland 45-21 to clinch a third title in the last four years.
