Barack Obama mugs, which misspell the US president's first name, have been ditched by Australia's Parliament House gift shop.
The Australian Online reported that the Secretary of the Department of Parliamentary Services Alan Thompson has taken responsibility for the embarrassing mistake.
Thompson said that while the mugs were manufactured in China or Vietnam, the branding had been done in Queensland.
The mugs are among other memorabilia pulled from the Canberra store after Obama again postponed his trip to Australia.
He says he is needed at home to address the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
