Object likely N.Korean balloon: S.Korea

South Korea fired warning shots at a object crossing the border from the North but Seoul now believes it was a balloon not a drone.

An unidentified object that flew across the border from North Korea was most likely a balloon carrying propaganda leaflets rather than a drone, the South Korean military says.

South Korea fired warning shots at the object as it crossed the border on Tuesday and it disappeared from radar.

South Korea's Yonhap news agency earlier reported the object had been found near the border and identified as a balloon.
