Six protesters have been arrested as police dismantled tents and pulled down posters at the Occupy Sydney site in the heart of the city's business district.
Three men and three women were arrested at Martin Place around 6.30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, police said.
The group are expected to be charged with breaches of the regulations of a local government act.

Police said they were removing equipment and rubbish from the site on Thursday morning.
Dozens of people have been charged since the protest, which is part of a global campaign against corporate greed that started in October.
In December, two protesters were charged after police, who were pulling down a large cardboard structure outside the Reserve Bank in Martin Place, noticed them in sleeping bags.
