NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell has launched more than 100 reviews since the coalition was elected to government.

In two and a half years, he's commissioned reviews of speed cameras, sharks, Harbour Bridge security, green slips, daylight saving and even the existence of a mysterious black panther in Sydney's outer suburbs.

His latest review is of a review body - Infrastructure Australia.

But Mr O'Farrell has told News Corp, which has tallied his reviews, they are necessary.

"(The government makes) no apologies for seeking expert advice on which to base decisions," he said.
