Two brothers with opposing political views have been publicly scolded by their mother while feuding on live TV.
Dallas and Brad Woodhouse were on-air during C-Span's Washington Journal program.
During the program, the brothers took a call from a woman named Joy from “down south”.
“Hey, somebody from down south!” said Dallas Woodhouse, a conservative. But it wasn’t long before excitement turned into shock and embarrassment – the brothers quickly recognising the voice of the caller.
“Oh god, it’s mom,” Dallas said.

“That’s right I’m from down south. And I’m your mother,” Joy replied.
Meanwhile Brad Woodhouse, a Democrat, is seen laughing as the pair’s mother scolds them live on air.
“I disagree that all families are like ours. I don’t know many families that are fighting at Thanksgiving…I would really like a peaceful Christmas.”
"I love politics," Joy continued, a registered Democrat. "They're both very passionate about what they believe in, and I love that about them, but I hope they get this out of their system today on their program."
The Woodhouse brothers were on the show to discuss their documentary ‘Woodhouse Divided’.
