NSW have received a body blow ahead of their one day cup defence with spinner Stephen O'Keefe ruled out with a finger injury.
O'Keefe is set to be sidelined for four weeks, including the domestic 50-over tournament, after going down in a grade match on the weekend.
"It's hugely disappointing for him," NSW coach Trent Johnston said.
"He had overcome the injury that ruled him out of the Sri Lanka tour and was back to full fitness and enjoying his cricket."
Batsman Ben Rohrer will come into the Blues squad for their one-day cup campaign, which begins against the Cricket Australia XI at Hurstville Oval on Friday.
