O'Keefe ruled out for NSW one-day campaign

Spinner Stephen O'Keefe has been ruled out of NSW's one-day dup campaign because of a finger injury.

NSW have received a body blow ahead of their one day cup defence with spinner Stephen O'Keefe ruled out with a finger injury.

O'Keefe is set to be sidelined for four weeks, including the domestic 50-over tournament, after going down in a grade match on the weekend.

"It's hugely disappointing for him," NSW coach Trent Johnston said.

"He had overcome the injury that ruled him out of the Sri Lanka tour and was back to full fitness and enjoying his cricket."

Batsman Ben Rohrer will come into the Blues squad for their one-day cup campaign, which begins against the Cricket Australia XI at Hurstville Oval on Friday.

The Blues also have the services of Australian Test off-spinner Nathan Lyon, who was overlooked for the current Australian one-day tour of South Africa.
