Olympic money boosts youth employment

With the UK now in recession and youth unemployment near record highs in London, the upcoming London 2012 Olympics is providing hope for young people looking to find work.

More than one million young people are unemployed in Britain, which is more than 22 per cent of those aged 16 to 24.

The Olympics, which begins in July, has created jobs and some of the Olympic money has gone towards helping London's disadvantaged youth to get training, but some are asking what will happen when the games are over.
