One dead in NSW light plane crash

Police have found a man's body inside the wreckage of a plane which crashed on a rural property in central NSW.

A man has died in a light plane crash in central NSW.

The plane was on fire when emergency services arrived at the scene on a rural property at Obley, near Dubbo, just before 2pm on Thursday.

The body of a man was found in the wreck.

An investigation has begun into what caused the crash.
