One man dead, one critical in WA ute fire

A ute has rolled and caught fire on a farm in Western Australia's south, killing one man and leaving another in hospital in a critical condition.

A man has died and another is in a critical condition in hospital after a utility vehicle rolled and caught fire on a farm in Western Australia's south.

Police say the accident happened on Sunday night at Monjingup near Esperance.

A 41-year-old man died at the scene and a 42-year-old man was taken to Esperance Hospital in a critical condition with burns to 80 per cent of his body.

Police said speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
