One-year-old girl drowns in Sydney pool

A one-year-old girl has drowned in a backyard pool in Sydney's southwest.

Police say that at about 4.15pm on Sunday the girl was found floating in the pool at Raby.

She was pulled from the water and rushed to Campbelltown Hospital by ambulance where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
