The Australian women's basketball team have opened their European tour with a comfortable 90-48 win over Argentina.
Superstar centre Liz Cambage, who dominated in the recent warm-up series win over Japan, was again a standout with 23 points and 10 rebounds on Monday morning (AEST) in Spain.
Katie-Rae Ebzery added 13 points, while Laura Hodges had 10 points, three rebounds and three assists on her return to the Opals after finishing her club season in France.
Coach Brendan Joyce was pleased with his side's defensive effort over the four quarters and its execution in offense.
He said it was good preparation for what's expected to be a tough match against Spain on Tuesday (AEST) in front of their home crowd in San Fernanando.
The Opals are playing eight games in 15 days in Europe, before returning to Australia for two final team camps before the Rio Olympics.
They are chasing Australia's first-ever Games basketball gold medal, having walked away with either silver or bronze at every Olympics since 1996.
