There's no place like home - especially when you're Queensland.
The Maroons are out to seal a 10th State of Origin series in the past 11 years with victory in game two at Suncorp Stadium next Wednesday.
And history suggests that's exactly what they'll do.
Only once in their past 11 years have NSW won a live match in Brisbane - their two other victories at that venue in that time coming with the series already won by Queensland.
14 players in Queensland's squad for the clash played in last year's record 52-6 hiding of the Blues and one of those players - Aidan Guerra - can barely hide his smile when asked what makes the venue so special for the hosts.
"It's just a great stadium to play at," Guerra told AAP.
"You walk out on the field and you feel like the soil below you is rattling.
"We know we'll have 55,000 Queenslanders there cheering us on."
Guerra also believes the Maroons can draw strength from their game one 6-4 win over the Blues in Sydney.
NSW were unable to score a point in the second-half of that match despite dominating the game and the Sydney Roosters' back-rower says there was plenty to take from that performance.
"That's what Origin's about, that's what the game of rugby league is about, being in those uncomfortable situations, uncomfortable games and just standing tall," he said.
"We had to do a lot of defence in that game and keep turning them away and I think we can take some confidence out of that."
