Queensland State of Origin hopeful Jai Arrow has been taken to hospital after suffering abdominal and rib pain during Gold Coast's 32-18 NRL loss to Canberra at GIO Stadium.
Arrow was hurt trying to tackle Junior Paulo early in the fourth straight loss for the Titans, who finished with just one man on the bench at the end of their horror trip to the nation's capital.
Arrow walked from the field with the assistance of trainers on Saturday but vomited at halftime after a fitness test and was later seen in an ambulance.
"When you've got chest and abdominal pains, it's important to get it checked out straight away," Titans coach Garth Brennan said.
"Fingers crossed it's nothing too serious. That's the most important thing for him. Football and Origin take a second step to your health.

"We hope he's OK and we can get him back on the park as soon as possible."
The 22-year-old has battled back spasms on the other side of his body for the past month after he missed the end of the pre-season with a rib injury. However, he's still been the Titans' best this year.
He has come into Queensland Origin contention off the back of that form while Maroons second-rowers Matt Gillett and Josh McGuire are injured.
Maroons prop Jarrod Wallace also left the field early with illness and didn't return, and bench forward Keegan Hipgrave was later taken from the field for a concussion test.
It came as potential Titans recruit Shannon Boyd left an early impression on his likely new club, starring in the 14-point win for Canberra.
A day after Brennan declared his interest in the former Kangaroos prop, the Titans could have desperately done with his power as he staved off a potential Gold Coast comeback.
After the Raiders gave up an 18-0 lead to the Titans in the opening round, they would have been nervous after their 20-0 halftime lead was reduced to 20-12 just eight minutes into the second half following two Ash Taylor grubber kicks.
But it was then Boyd came into his own as he pushed his way over from close to the line to extend the gap to 14 with 25 minutes to play.
He then put the Raiders in the position for their next try from the ensuing kick-off when he busted downfield from his own end to put Canberra in the position for Jordan Rapana to later score.
"If we were mentally weak team we would have started to get the shakes. And they didn't," Raiders coach Ricky Stuart said.
"I'm proud to say we dug our heels in and we got back into the game."
