A man has turned up at a Sydney hospital with a gunshot wound to his ankle.
But police still don't know where the shooting happened.
The 48-year-old man was driven to the hospital in Sydney's west by a man and a woman just after 6am (AEDT) on Sunday, police said.
No further details are known.
It comes after an 18-year-old man was found with two gunshot wounds to his leg at a property in Guildford just after 1.30am on Sunday.

He was treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Police said they were looking for a man who was seen in the area wearing a dark baseball cap, black pants, black boots and a black belt.
He is described as being of medium to large build, 170cm tall with a light complexion.
Police said they weren't linking the two shootings at this stage.
